I discovered the brand about three years ago and have bought one, maybe two things from each collection that really stood out to me. Well, the spring catalogue arrived a couple of weeks ago and literally everything is amazing, I can't choose and just want ALL of it!
As usual I have been totally seduced by their amazing photo shoots and the beautiful way in which they style their clothing. I would describe the overall look as understated, Parisian chic with a bit of an edge.
I may have ordered a few things, and am trying (with great difficulty) to decide what to keep. The one thing I definitely knew was a keeper, as it had my name all over it, was this jumper below:
Hush Star Jumper £69.50
I love anything with a star print, as you have probably noticed with my scarves, but I just had to have this and was not disappointed when it arrived. It feels very unique with the bold star, quite a slouchy fit, and it's a beautifully soft, fine knit, perfect for wearing now during the day and in the evenings when summer comes. I LOVE this so much. I would even have been tempted to get it in another colour but no need as I found out today that my Mum has bought it in the green star.
My next favourite item is this:
Knitted Crop Jacket £80
This jacket just really stands out, I love how they have styled it with a simple white tee and boyfriend jeans. It would work for so many looks, from off-duty to smart office wear. I can't even decide which colour I prefer, both are so fabulous.
My next obsession is the Cargo Trouser £79
I could see these being a great every day wardrobe staple through the spring and summer, I love the fit and they would look great rolled up when the weather is warmer.
Moving on to dresses. There are so many lovely ones to choose from, but I am always drawn to stripey summer dresses for a casual and understated look. If I was looking for a classic one for the summer, this would be it!
Catherine Dress £45
Very simple but looks chic and fresh.
I also love the perforated detail on these gold skater shoes:
Perforated Skater Shoe £85
I would have worn these with everything from maxi dresses to the cargo trousers featured above, but they are completely sold out in the gold - sob!
Lastly, I had to mention this gorgeous summery scarf that has a very whimsical style.
Spanish Dancer Scarf £45
I could go on and on as it is all lovely, but the above would be my top picks.
If you are a Hush fan, they are holding flash sales every Friday for the next few weeks. The first one was last Friday, when they offered 30% off their Textured Dress between 12 and 2pm. The next one will be at the same time this Friday. Fingers crossed it's knitwear!
Finishing with a pic of me in the star knit, going for a family walk at the weekend over the cliffs near West Bay in Dorset (where Broadchurch was filmed!).
I'm wearing it with black jeans from Mint Velvet and grey Victoria pumps from Yard.
If I keep any more Hush items I will of course be sharing them here!
