Bargain Sweater from New Look

Following on from my post yesterday about sweatshirts, I wanted to let you know about a really great basic one that I've found.

This week I borrowed my Mum's yellow French Connection ribbed sweater that she bought from Yard (local boutique) this summer. It's a fabulously bright yellow and has now sold out at Yard, although they do have it in navy for the current season.

Here I am wearing the yellow colour:


Sweater - French Connection at Yard SS14
New York Scarf - Yard
Black Jeans - Mint Velvet - AW13
Backpack - Mint Velvet AW14
Shoes - New Look - AW14

I wanted to find something similar with full length sleeves and in neutral/darker colours for this season and spotted this bargainous one from New Look which has the same ribbed texture and relaxed fit:

It comes in a fantastic range of colours including black, white, khaki, orange and this gorgeous dark red, perfect for autumn:

For the price, this is such a versatile sweater, easy to dress down with jeans and trainers or dress up with skinny jeans and a statement necklace/scarf, or even wear with a pencil skirt and heels to the office.

Does anyone know of any other bargain sweaters? I've heard that Primark is a great place to find one, so be checking it out!

    Hope you are well Abbi - ahh I spotted that scarf, it's fab and love you in yellow. New Look have had some cute things this autumn, I'm even sold on some of the tops in H&M at the moment, I have been 'pinning' away quite a few things I like x
